Teaching language and shaping articulation is integrated into all of our ABA programs, but for some students additional support is needed.  Our ASHA-certified speech and language pathologist works with closely with our team and clients to identify missing foundation skills in pragmatic language, and assists in developing plans to address oral motor development, feeding challenges, articulation, and fluency.  Speech services are available for clients who are receiving ABA services as well as those who may only need the support of a speech pathologist.  The principles of ABA are utilized throughout speech and language therapy, and sessions are created to ensure that our clients are motivated to participate and are having fun! Common assessment and treatment tools utilized in our sessions include the VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and the Kauffman Cards. All services are implemented in the clinic setting where data is collected and charted daily and progress is monitored weekly.
